Luxury Car Rental in Cape Town for Australian Visitors

Your Australian driving licence is fully accepted in South Africa — this is important because many SA rental companies refuse Australian licences without an International Driving Permit. We don't. Your standard Australian licence is sufficient, provided it's in English (all standard Aussie licences are). Minimum age 23 for the main fleet, 25+ for supercars, no upper age limit. Licence must have been held at least 2 years. At pickup bring your physical Australian licence card, your passport, the credit card used for the deposit (in the lead driver's name), and flight or accommodation details. Three patterns we see often: Cape Town plus safari (5-10 days) — fly into Cape Town, hire a vehicle for city time and the Cape Peninsula, then fly to Kruger or a Northern Cape reserve for safari, with us collecting the vehicle on departure. The Full Garden Route (10-14 days) — Cape Town to Hermanus, Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Tsitsikamma, ending in Port Elizabeth where we collect the car. Cape Winelands and Coast Loop (5-7 days) — Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Hermanus, back via Cape Point — best in a luxury SUV (Range Rover Sport, BMW X7) or convertible for the coastal stretches.
